General Description
The ADHD Rating Scale-IV: Checklist, norms, and clinical interpretation (ADHD Rating Scale-IV; DuPaul, Power, Anastopoulos, & Reid, 1998) is a norm-referenced checklist that measures the symptoms of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) according to the diagnostic criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV; American Psychiatric Association, 1994). The diagnostic criteria changed from the DSM-III to the DSM-IV. These changes reflect the factor analyses of teacher ratings of ADHD symptoms.
