The line graph illustrates the changes in total meat, salt and fish which consumed by Chinese individuals between the years 1985 and 2010. Food consumption is measured in grams.
In general, total meat consumption was gradually increased in contrast salt consumption was gradually decreased and both meat and salt consumption reached in just 100 gram at the end of the period.
In 1985, the total fish consumption was 600 gram which was close to salt consumption (500 gram). In the years between 1985 and 1990, the total fish consumption was increased to exactly 700 gram while the total salt consumption was declined to approximately 400 gram.
After 1990, the total fish consumption has started to decrease and after 1995 the figure has sharply increased to more than 800 gram. The figure was 4 times higher than both salt and meat consumption in 2010.
Finally, during the period both meat and fish consumption have increased but salt consumption has significantly decreased to exactly 2000.
