The map illustrates two possible sites for the new school in the town of Canterbury.
Overall, the two planned schools are suitable for transportation due to their access to main roads.
S1 is situated in the countryside which is in the North East while S2 is located in the town center which is surrounded by housing. Both planned schools are not close to the university which is located in the North of the Canterbury. Moreover, the main roads cannot be used by university students.
The potential school on the S1 is closer to Sturry (5 km.) while S2 is closer to Chartham (7 km). School on the S2 is in the no traffic zone, in contrast, the traffic around S1 can be a problem in terms of safety of students.
The population of Sturry (7,000) is almost two times higher than the population of Chartham (4500). It is clear that more students can benefit if the school is built on the S1.
