The given diagrams illustrate the developments of the town of Denham in 1986 and present.
Overall, primary school, bridge and post office have remained the same while farmland, shops and gardens have demolished,
In 1986, there were the farmlands at nearby to the river stoke and next to the primary school which was situated across to shops. But, all farmlands were demolished to build more houses. Besides that, the large house which located in South East of Denham is turned into a retirement home.
In present, the garden of a retirement home is smaller than before. Therefore, the number of houses around the primary school is increased which may help children to go to school easily. The road is extended to allow to build more houses near the school. In addition, Shops are turned into a residential area as well.
